Decision frameworks for leaders who answer to a board, not a hunch.

Viksya publishes structured decision systems across three tracks — AI investment, AI-DLC delivery adoption, and cloud migration — each replacing ad-hoc judgment with a repeatable, evidence-based method. Delivered as Excel workbooks or PDF playbooks. No macros, no plugins, no vendor lock-in.

Two Pillars, One Discipline

Every programme sits on one of three decision tracks.

AI Transformation governs whether and how much to invest. AI-DLC governs whether and how to adopt an AI-driven delivery methodology once the investment is made. Cloud Migration is a third, focused track for infrastructure moves. Same construction discipline, three different questions.

Track 01 — Invest

AI Transformation

Should we invest, in what, how much, is it still under control once funded, and is it compliant? Eight frameworks carrying a programme from first assessment to a board-approved budget and ongoing governance.

Track 02 — Adopt & Deliver

AI-DLC

Are we ready to run an AI-driven development lifecycle, which team goes first, does it pay for itself, and is delivery still disciplined once it's live?

Track 03 — Migrate

Cloud Migration

Are we positioned to migrate — internally delivered or vendor-led — before the programme is scoped and budgeted?

Who Uses These

Built for the people who have to defend the number, not just produce it.

CIOs, CTOs & VPs of Engineering
Walk into a steering committee with a readiness score, a confidence-ranged estimate, and an ROI case — whether the decision is an AI investment or an AI-DLC pilot.
Programme, Portfolio & Transformation Offices
Standardise readiness, estimation, and prioritisation practice across every AI, AI-DLC, or cloud workstream — without rebuilding a framework for each one.
Engineering Directors, Agile Coaches & RTEs
Sequence a SAFe or Scrum transition to AI-DLC against evidence, and track ritual discipline and delivery health once teams are live.
Consultants & Systems Integrators
White-label every framework across all three tracks under a Consultant Licence, built for firms running multiple client engagements. See Consultant Licensing →
AI Governance, Risk & Compliance Leads
Classify AI use cases against the EU AI Act and India's DPDP Act, close the compliance gaps a High-Risk classification triggers, and score vendor and delivery-partner risk — alongside investment governance, not instead of it.

Track 01

AI Transformation — the investment decision, end to end.

Each framework stands alone. Used in sequence, this track takes an AI programme from "are we ready to invest?" through "is it still under control in production?" to "can we produce the compliance evidence a regulator would ask for?" in a single, evidence-based thread.

Key Terms
Decision Framework
A structured, repeatable method for answering one specific executive question, replacing ad-hoc judgment with defensible evidence.
AI-DLC
Short for AI-Driven Development Life Cycle — AWS's named methodology for AI-driven software delivery, structured around three phases: Inception, Construction, and Operations.
Adoption Path
A three-tier AI-DLC recommendation — Foundation Needed, Pilot in Bounded Greenfield, or Ready to Scale — driven by an organisation's readiness score.
Estimation Model (P50/P80/P90)
A method for projecting cost or effort as a confidence range rather than a single number.
Governance Gate
A staged funding checkpoint where an initiative must justify continued investment before proceeding to the next phase.
EU AI Act Risk Tier
The classification — Prohibited, High-Risk, Limited-Risk, or Minimal-Risk — assigned to an AI system under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, determined by a strict waterfall in which each tier is checked in turn.
FRIA
Fundamental Rights Impact Assessment — the assessment Article 27 of the EU AI Act requires certain deployers of High-Risk AI systems to complete before first use and notify to the market surveillance authority.
How It's Built

One construction discipline, applied across all three tracks.

The methodology, not the file format, is the product. Every framework — whether it answers an investment, adoption, or migration question — is built the same way.

01

Research Basis

Each scoring dimension is grounded in recognised transformation, delivery, and portfolio-management practice, not invented criteria.

02

Structured Scoring

Inputs are weighted and scored consistently, so two different teams using the same framework reach comparable conclusions.

03

Executive Output

Every model produces a concrete artifact — a score, a confidence range, a ranked list, or a stage-gate recommendation — not raw data.

04

Governance Use

Outputs are built to be presented at a steering committee or board level, with the reasoning behind the number fully visible.
